PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF TEACHERS (TRAINERS)
in Skopje

The project: "Fit for the future", funded by the EU, started on 23 December 2016 and will last 12 months. The project is being implemented by a partnership of two organizations: Internationaler Bund e.V., IB Süd (Germany) and Associations of citizens "IRHOM Topaana" from Skopje (Macedonia). The project is financed by the Operational Programme for Human Resources Development 2007-2013 (IPA Component IV) and is aimed at facilitating integration and inclusion of young Roma people who are not in education, employment or training into the labour market and strengthening capacities of professionals working with young disadvantaged people.

Association of citizens “IRHOM TOPAANA” is announcing the call for recruitment of teachers (trainers) for the explained areas below that could carry out the trainings. Chosen teachers (trainers) will be recruited for the period of 6 months within the project duration for implementing project activities and conducting training courses. Training courses shall be conducted in the premises already equipped within the project and managed by the Grant Beneficiary and its partner organizations.
Each selected teacher (trainer) shall closely work with the Local project Manager appointed for certain location in the project offices in Skopje and is foreseen to perform the following tasks:

- Assess the level of skills of the candidates regarding the specific course topics;
- Define the training programme in of the learning course and its outcomes at the beginning of the assignment (first 10 working days);
- Design of the training course, which has to be adjusted to the assessed level of the skills;
- Develop training materials and training plan, as well as regular update;
- Delivery of training courses in 2 training blocks:
1) April - June 2017
2) July - September 2017
(each training shall be implemented three times per week);
- Drafting monthly training reports and final training report and submission to Local Project Manager.

Expected deliverables:
- Training course programme (topics covered) and training implementation curricula (methodology for implementation);
- Training plan;
- Monthly training reports to be submitted to the Local project Manager;
- Final training report and evaluation of participants’ feedback of the course;
- Learning outcomes;
- Training materials.

The recruited trainers will be employed fulltime since the employment includes not only conducting the courses but also above-listed preparation and follow-up activities related to the trainings.

For the purpose of conducting training courses in Skopje (Topana), the following vacant positions within the project are announced:

1) Teachers (trainer) who will implement the computer courses in Skopje, on the territory of the Municipality of Shuto Orizari (1 teacher)

 Basic or advanced course on computer skills - Microsoft Office Programmes (bases of the concept of ICT, managing files, Word, Excel, Power-point, Outlook, and Internet).

Criteria for selection:
 At least Bachelor of Science in IT Studies or Mathematics-Informatics;
 At least 6 months working experience in the field of IT
 At least one training programme / curricula developed and conducted on the computer courses (Microsoft Office Programmes);
 Ability to work in a team;
 Good communicational skills.

2) Teacher (trainer) who will implement the Literacy courses in Skopje, in the territory of the Municipality of Shuto Orizari (1 teacher)

 Basic course for literacy

Criteria for selection:
 At least Bachelor in relevant discipline (teaching/pedagogics/education, linguistics/literature/philology);
 At least 6 months working experience in the field of teaching;
 At least one training programme / curricula developed and conducted on Macedonian language
skills;
 Ability to work in a team;
 Good communicational skills.

All candidates shall be ranked on basis of assessment against the above given criteria for each position. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited for an interview.

Applications with incomplete and invalid documents received after the deadline set in the public announcement will not be considered for further selection.

Note:
Civil servants and other staff currently employed by public administrations of the Beneficiary Country are not eligible to apply as experts.
Teachers (trainers) must be independent and free from conflicts of interest in the responsibilities defined by this public announcement.
The selected teachers (trainers) will need to sign a Declaration of availability.
